Bethel’s Heavenly Hands sought a fresh, inviting website that communicates their faith-driven mission, highlights community outreach programs, and encourages engagement from congregants, volunteers, and donors.

Primary goals:

  • Convey a compassionate, service-oriented identity

  • Showcase local Houston impact and community initiatives

  • Simplify content management for internal staff (modular, CMS-based)

  • Boost visibility and discoverability for newcomers, volunteers, and donors (SEO-optimized, mobile-first, clear calls-to-action)

We took cues from Houston ministries with clean layouts, welcoming imagery, and easy-to-navigate structures that put people and purpose front and center.

  • Embedded subtle Houston touches (skyline silhouettes, neighborhood program photography) to emphasize local roots

  • Messaging aligned with Bethel’s Heavenly Hands’ ethos: nurturing, approachable, and mission-driven

  • Crafted hero message to immediately resonate with visitors: “Serving Hands. Healing Hearts. Your Community Awaits.”

Technical & UX Highlights

  • Responsive & Mobile-First: Ensured high-priority actions like “Volunteer” and “Donate” remain front-and-center on all devices

  • CMS & Content Flexibility: Built in WordPress with modular blocks so staff can effortlessly update events, programs, testimonials, and homepage features

  • Performance Optimization: Streamlined images, implemented lazy loading, and minified CSS for fast load times
